“The more important a call or action is to our soul’s evolution, the more resistance we will feel toward pursuing it.” ~ Steven Pressfield
Your soul’s evolution is a progression not a destination. Every experience you encounter assists in your soul’s evolution. And, the more challenging the experience, the more your soul evolves.
You may want to resist the dark nights of your soul. It’s human nature not to want to feel pain or discomfort. Yet, instead of wishing away these life-altering times, drop into your heart and be grateful for the challenges you’ve experienced in your life. Each and every one of them have helped your magnificent soul to evolve.
We are experiencing an inner shift and are being firmly, but lovingly nudged to focus on our heart center and tap into the truth of our soul. So many of us give up our power by “thinking” we don’t have any and yet, we do. Our power emanates from the capacity to listen and tune into our highest soul self and call upon and trust this inner knowing in any situation that may arise. In aligning with our heart center, we create a vibrational coherence with our mind/ego and heart/soul.
You are here to feel inspired, create joy, and progress on your soul’s path. Like the phoenix rising out of the ashes, it’s time you release yourself from anything that shackles your soul. You are being called, nudged and even frustrated to the point of waking up. Don’t let your resistance to challenging experiences postpone your soul’s call to action.
Here are 3 ways to accelerate your soul’s evolution:
1) Viewing Your Struggles from Soul Awareness: When you find your struggling with a challenging situation, remind yourself this experience is helping your soul to grow and progress. That’s what I tell myself when I struggle to view what’s happening in my life from this higher level of awareness. So, when you are faced with a difficult situation: Ask yourself, “How is my soul evolving through this experience?”
2) Increase Your Spiritual Practices: You may have spiritual rituals and practices that you turn to everyday. Yet, I suggest that you add in new ones or increase the duration and frequency of the ones you are using. Use your spiritual practices to calm and ground your energies. Here are a few of “go to” my rituals of light: Meditate, pray, be in nature, develop a gratitude practice, talk to your angels, and connect with your spiritual guides. Not once a day, but several times a day.
3) Focus on the Spiritual Linings in Your Challenges: Look for something positive everyday even if some days you have to look harder. Dwelling on the positive things in your life elevates your energy. Pure experiences of awe, wonder, joy, warmth, inspiration, gratefulness, and connectedness–anything good in your life needs to be given focused attention. Doing so shifts your mindset toward the good things in your life, which, in turn, allows for a genuine resilience in your mind, body, and spirit.
