The eyes of our heart are the window of our soul. When we open our heart, we access this window of information about our soul’s journey. Information flows vibrationally through the heart’s pathways guiding us and inspiring our personal transformation. For example, when we are awestruck by a favorite song, a child’s touch, the scent of a loved one or the beauty of nature, a cascade of inspired information rushes through us. This spiritual opening creates a shift in our perspective and gives us a glimpse of who we truly are.
Through this window of our soul, we receive answers to the questions regarding the purpose of our lives. Our brains retrieve data from stored files, however, it can’t give us the true experience of our own being. The source of our eternal essence doesn’t dwell in the mind, rather it resides in the space of our hearts. Therefore, it’s important that we tune in to our hearts, let the mind become the backdrop and channel this inspired information that guides our soul’s path.
When we lead with our heart and use our head, we create a harmonious flow of energy-a shift in our conscious awareness. An example of this integration of head and heart can be seen with swimming. When we swim, we tend to focus on our strokes, keeping a fast pace or the distance we have traveled. Yet, once we let go of the mind and shift into the heart center, we flow in rhythmic cadence without thinking.
Pay attention and lead with an open heart. Shift your perspective from the eyes in your “head” to the eyes in you “heart.” Tune in to what you sense, feel or intuit and let this information guide you on your soul’s path. BE light of heart and you will see who you are and who you came here to BE.

“When we lead with our heart and use our head, we create a harmonious flow of energy…”
I love that line… and the fact that, with practice, it gets easier to find that balance. <3
Thanks Andrea…it does get easier with practice!
Thanks for this beautiful and inspiring post, Debra. I love the part: ‘seeing with the heart’. The heart is a wonderful guide <3
I love that you integrate the heart and the head and taking it to a very practical practice like swimming. A beautiful post.
Leading with our heart and using our head is the best way forward – both are required for balance. Wonderful post Debra! xo
Debra I love this line -> Shift your perspective from the eyes in your “head” to the eyes in you “heart.”
I’m so with you on this. All heart 🙂
Much Love,

Such truth, Debra! The vibrational energy of the heart, with its knowing discernment, is my guide in each moment. You have given this exquisite expression.
Love this and resonates with me, and so often easier said than done 🙂
BE light of heart and you will see who you are and who you came here to BE.
So often feel we are in alignment xxoo
You explain the way our heart and mind works together in such a beautiful way, Debra. I love it! My heart resonates with you message, knowing it is true. Thank you.
Ditto to all the comments before mine. For me, this: Pay attention and lead with an open heart. Shift your perspective from the eyes in your “head” to the eyes in you “heart.” Tune in to what you sense, feel or intuit and let this information guide you on your soul’s path. BE light of heart….
My theme word has been “wholehearted” the last few weeks. And now you’ve opened up the space for me to add “lighthearted.” Nice.
As I was reading this, I found the gentle words to just wash over me in calm. Thanks for your wisdom & helping us flow “in rhythmic cadence.” <3
